Natural Realistic Skin

In my retouching workflow, realism remains the guiding principle behind every decision. Rather than transforming a subject into an idealized version of themselves, my goal is to refine distractions, improve visual consistency, and enhance the overall impact of the image while preserving what makes it authentic. This approach often requires more attention to detail than heavily automated workflows, but it allows the final image to retain credibility, texture, character, and emotional connection. For me, successful retouching is not about making people look different. It is about helping the photograph communicate its full potential without drawing attention to the retouching itself.
